We are a private school located in Redwood City, CA. TAPA aims to create a focused, disciplined environment where excellence is the standard. A space specifically for student athletes with curated learning & a holistic approach that includes parents.

Our holistic model has three core tracks. Discovery: Education that teaches kids how to think, not just what to think. Pro-Edge: Elite athletic training and education on recruiting, marketing, and the business of sports. Pathways: Real-life skills like leadership, financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and life after sports.

Discovery is a thoughtfully designed learning program customized to meet each student’s learning goals and needs. It follows a hands-on, manipulative-based approach, aiming to foster proficiency, mastery, and creativity in every learner. Our learning guides are trained in our curriculum and will continue to be trained throughout the school year.  Each grade level has a roadmap of skill sets that they will be taught throughout the school year.

Our ProEdge program will provide students & families with information and resources to help equip them for the recruitment process & the business side of sports.  This includes workshops, guest speakers & open office hours. Our athletic training program is tailored to benefit each age group and to help them build skills in 14 week cycles. In addition to elite training, they will learn about sports nutrition and hydration, rest and recovery and we will partner with various sports and position specific trainers.

Pathways is our track which teaches essential life skills, leadership, financial literacy, public speaking and trades exposure. We want our students to thrive beyond and after sports. Pathways will run on Fridays and will include workshops, guest speakers, events and classes.
